The ski season is nearly upon us and if you have a family I am sure you a beginning to think about where to head to this season so you can book you holiday before the school holiday weeks fill up. We have chosen some of the ‘must go to’ resorts for families in Europe this season.

Selva Val Gardena, Italy

Selva is a great place for beginners and families. There are plenty of nursery slopes to practice you technique on before tackling some blue runs across the network. It is a popular resort for families and school trips due to the low prices, excellent ski schools and few queues. Children under eight also ski free in Selva.

Levi , Finland

It is a great resort for a family Christmas holiday, with plenty to keep the kids entertained, a favourite with many is taking a reindeer sleigh ride and visiting Santa’s Grotto. Levi’s northern location almost guarantees snow right down to the bottom of the mountain and is the largest resort for a ski holiday in Finland.

Zell am See, Austria

One of the top ski holiday resorts for families in Austria is Zell am See. The ski school and vast array of activities at this resort make it a brilliant family ski destination. It is a very family orientated resort which great day care and children’s clubs.
